Theron Parlin Obituary

Greg's life was cut abruptly short in Missouri. He was many things to many people and loved by all. He is survived by his parents, Ted and Pat Parlin; sister, Michaela Parlin; two sons, Trace and Brennen Raposa; his nieces, Holli LaRose and Tashina Parlin Three Sticks; his nephew Andrew Parlin; his great niece, Aubree LaRose; and grandmother, Nesta Hawkins; as well as many relatives in England and America. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Parlin. Greg worked hard to be the best plumber he could be and was passionate about his job. His co-workers agreed and shared many fond memories of Greg singing and joking on the job; our thanks to everyone in Missouri for the memorial reception, kindness and endless funny stories. Greg will be missed dearly and held forever in our hearts, together with his brother, Ron. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Shrine of Remembrance at 10:00 a.m. on August 13, 2011 with a reception to follow for family and friends at his home on Hackamore Place.

I miss you still my love. I think of you every day and honor your memory often. You saved our lives, loved us all so well, and I will never forget. I miss your handsome face and that Greg laugh. The world will never be as bright with you gone. I will love and miss you until we are together again.

On May 2, 2009, Greg posted an entry on Ron's Guest Book which read: Ron you were my biggest influence growing up. You were half of my whole life. I miss you. Your little Brother.

I've read this so many times....I hate the expression that everything happens for a reason...but one thing that I do know...is that the PARLIN brother's have a stronghold on Heaven... they might be the two standing at the gate...This isn't meant to be funny! I can just see it now!

Greg, I only met you for a minute at Ron's funeral. Ron was my buddy and talked about all of his family so much...and always with a big smile! I'm so very sad that I never knew you better. I've read the things you posted to Ron many times and felt the pain in your heart as we all missed Ron dearly! I cannot begin to express the sorrow I feel for your family. You both had that "SMILE"! God Bless!

Dear Ted, Pat, Michaela & all of my family
I truly wish that I cold be with you - distance can't heal or hide the devastaton that we all feel in England at the loss of yet another grandson & nephew. So needless & senseless. Our hearts & thoughts are with you all. Pat I will alway remember our day in Bath, when we went to Sally Lunns with Greg & many gift shops on one of your buying sprees, where Greg totally disegarded every "nice to look at- nice to hold, if it breaks consider it sold". We almost brought many items. That's the Greg I remember, a small boy with curly hair and a wicked smile.
Smile on Greg - we love you give Ronnie a hug for us.
Love to all
Tanya
