Thomas Bem Obituary

Thomas Albert Bem, 41, was called to the Lord August 9, 2010. He was born December 24, 1968, in Houston, Texas, and grew up in Los Alamos, New Mexico, and the Clear Lake City Seabrook, Texas, area. He attended Moorpark College in Moorpark, California, and San Jacinto College in Pasadena, Texas. He was an advisory client manager for T. Rowe Price in Tampa, Florida. He leaves to grieve him his pride and joy, his daughter Lauren Bem and three-month-old granddaughter Hailie Madison Harris of Austin, Texas; his sister and brother-in-law, the Drs. Bridget and Greg Jones and their son, Gerald, of Denton, Texas; his former wife and mother of Lauren, Kristine Diane Flury of Pflugerville, Texas; his parents, James and Mary Bem of Colorado Springs; his godparents, Kenneth and JoAnn Truman of Friendswood, Texas; his many loving friends including Elaina, Rachel, Jeff and Suzy, and his colleagues at T. Rowe Price, Renee and Mark. A Mass of the Resurrection for Thomas will take place at 1 p.m., October 1, at St. Theresa Church, Austin, Texas, and Thomas will be laid to rest in the Butterfly Garden of Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas. Eternal rest give to him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
