Thomas Francis Brown passed away peacefully January 14, 2026, at the age of 87 at home in Colorado Springs, Colorado, surrounded by loved ones. Tom was born in Auburn, New York to Frank and Mary (Matthews) Brown. Tom and his wife, Barbara, met in upstate New York and were married on October 15, 1958. Throughout their married life, they lived in New York, Michigan, Washington State and moved to Colorado Springs in 2002.
Tom had a passion for aviation and knew he wanted to be a pilot at the age of five years old. He pursued his aviation dream and spent most of his career at Associated Aviation Underwriters. Some of his favorite activities were flying his Cessna Cardinal, participating in drum corps as a young man, enjoying a meal at fine dining establishments, and reading the newspaper with a cup of black coffee every morning.
Tom is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Martin) Brown, his parents, his brother Joseph Brown, and his sister Carol (Brown) Scholl.
He is survived by his daughters, Pam O'Brien and Patti Enright along with their husbands, Mark O'Brien and Paul Enright; six grandchildren, Sarah, Stephanie, Katie, Kyle, Amber and Ashley, and eleven great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cremation services have been entrusted to The Springs Funeral Services.
