I never met Tom, but the stories my mom has told me about him have managed to bring me to tears. Hearing about how he gave the last of his money to my mother, and about how kind he was. He urged my mother to spend it on toys for me. I was only a baby at the time, but hearing this now, I am determined to somehow pay it back. After all he went through, I want to make sure hes remembered. I owe you Tom

Tom was at heart, an artist. He was very gifted and talented in many ways. His artist's soul enabled him to see and capture the beauty of the world that surrounds us. It is a great lessing to us to be able to have that part of Tom that he poured into his music and photography.
That same artist's soul fueled a passion within Tom to do what many people never accomplish in their lives- that is, to follow and to fulfill his life's dream.
Tom followed his dream of living in the Rocky Mountains and pursuing his passion for music. The music he created was an expression of his love for God and the gift of music that God gave him. I have always admired Tom for walking to the beat of a different drummer and staying true to his dreams and passions.
Tom was a very giving and loving person. He was faithful and true to those he loved- qualities learned from his parents. He leaves behind many who loved him and I'm very blessed to have had him as a brother.
Tom, you are loved and greatly missed and I look forward to seeing you again in Heaven.

I met Tom in 1989 through a Christian band we both played in. He was a dear and cherished friend to me and my family. I'll remember many unique things about him. His funny answering machine! His love of the mountains, of cheese... of the keyboard. We had many talks about life, the bible, The Lord, and of course, music. He would stop by my house on his way to Mount Herman... I had the privelege to play bass on one of Tom's ongoing projects! I would stop by Dominoes to say hi to him... he loved that! And of course his on-going vehicle issues! I'll always remember after he had his heart valve fixed the first time... I could always hear the ticking. I'll sure miss my friend. It's comforting to know he's with Jesus now. And he has no more heart problem, no more pain, no more tears. It was a pure JOY to have known him!
