Wow Tom, how can anyone really say how stunned we are by your death? My mind keeps bringing your image to me with you being such a silly, happy, full of life guy! Are we gonna miss you when you should have been coming home to Michigan for a visit? You bet we are!! We loved listening to your Police, EMS, and Fire stories. When you were fresh out of high school and sharing your dreams and plans of what you wanted to do when you grew up...still brings a smile to my face. Remembering you as an Explorer at OTR with my son also makes me smile. You were so gung ho! We are truely blessed for having known you. You will be fondly remembered and sorely missed! May God hold you in his arms, and may he ease the pain your family is suffering. We loved you and we will miss you.

Tommy, I so wish you would just show up at our door like so many times before. I wish you knew how important and loved you are by your family and friends. We have so many great memories as children and growing adults, but we are having the hardest time accepting that there will be nomore to come. Even with all the miles between, you were and will always be a member of the original eight. Until we can laugh together again. Give Grandma the biggest hug for us and may you please be resting in peace.
With smiles, tears and love,
Heidi Maurer and Family
