Thomas Kasperek Obituary

Thomas was born on May 30, 1935 in Oswego, New York to Joseph & Ann (Stubnik) Kasperek. Thomas served in the United States Air Force for 33 years. He retired in 1985 as a Chief Master Sergeant. On January 28, 1956 he married the love of his life Nancy Kasperek who preceded him in death. In December of 2006 Thomas and Nancy made their home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Thomas is survived by his loving daughters, Ann (Kasperek) Paczolt; Deborah (Kasperek) Sherrock; grandchildren, Krissi, Nic & Ashley Paczolt and Louis, Joe & Steph Sherrock; brother, Ed Kasperek; sister, Anna Mae Wapen and his loyal 4 legged companions, Mya & GiGi. On Christmas day 2008 Tom lost the love of his life. Despite the best efforts of his family he died of a broken heart on June 15, 2009. Tom will be sorely missed by his daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren, his siblings and all of his many friends. In spite of our pain we are grateful that Tom & Nancy are together forever. A service will be held at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 4925 North Carefree Circle, Colorado Springs, CO. 80917 at 2:00pm on June 27th, 2009. I am deeply sorry to hear that Tom Passed away. We were stationed in the Air Force and where ever I went Tom was sure to follow and vice versa. We served together at Hancock Field New York, Phu Cat Vietnam and then here in Colorado Springs. I hope to see him in our next assignment serving Our Dear Lord.

I'm sorry to hear Tom passed. He was a credit to the work force at USAFA and will be sorely missed. I'm sorry I'll miss the funeral but my thoughts and prayers are with the family.
