I worked with Tom many years ago at Digital Equipment. We spent many lunches and happy hours together at Tam O'Shanters, not sure if it's still there but Tom was a dear friend. I just found out of his passing and am so sorry for his family and all who knew the soul full of laughter. I remember when he first bought his VW Golf, boy was he a terror in that car.
I have such great memories of him. Spread your wings of laughter my friend...

I can't get over the excitment in Tom's eyes when he was closing on the house. He couldn't wait to go give you the keys to your home. I can still see his big grin! God has definitly got a new angel!

Kristen, no words can express how I feel about our loss of Tom. He is one of the most profound men I have ever met, even when he was not feeling well, he managed a smile. You two I can truly say were sole mates, I'm so glad you had a chance to have each other even if for the little time you did. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.. love Pam

We've all lost a great friend. Tom was the backbone of our Sales Department and was a pleasure to work with. He always made time to help everyone, even at our busiest moments. I told him many times that he should be on a stage with a microphone...his humor was so sharp and quick. What a fun guy to be around! My best thoughts and prayers to Kirsten and the family. Hang in there, as Tom would want us all to be strong. He will be missed by all who knew him. I will always remember him at his best, and try to think of what he'd say to situations at work. He truly was one of a kind.

I worked with Tom for 2+ years. Whenever I would run into him in the hall, I always got the "Gotcha" and then punch in my arm, I couldn't help but look. His smile wrapped all around the call center and everyone could feel it. I'm glad I got to know Tom inside, and outside of work. He could always put a smile on anyone's face. Kirsten, you are in my thoughts and prayers. He will truly be missed!

Although I did not know Tom, he sounded like a very special man. I did have an occasion to meet Kirsten today at Evergreen Cemetery. She and two others sat praying by Tom's grave as I placed a rose at the base of my friend's headstone. I approached her and we shared some comforting words. Inspite of her heavy burden, she had time to offer expressions of kindness to me, as well. God Bless You, Kirsten, you are truly an angel and a blessing.

Tom Littrell possessed more wit, wisdom and cool than any one person should be allowed. I enjoyed every moment we hung out together. Whether cooking, camping, or just spending time with friends he was always the "Professional Life of The Party". I miss him a lot and offer my greatest sympathy to his family for their loss.

Words can't describe the void left by Tom's abscence. We find comfort in knowing that he is not gone forever but just taking a trip a little earlier than us to make sure we have a place to go to thats, nice, safe, loving and full of joy and laughter. He will be waiting for us there with open arms and a great wide smile. We look forward to that day as it will be one of the happiest days of our lifes. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time Kirsten, you know we love you all very much.

I have known Tom since 2nd grade at Wilson Elementary. He was a great friend and he will be greatly missed by everybody. Tom was a gentle giant and a true friend to so many. Even though we had not seen each other for a couple of years, I always knew Tom was there and it saddens me that he is gone. God Bless him and all that had the pleasure of knowing him.

To us, Tom was more than just a friend; he was our BEST friend. The three of us shared so many memories together. We never expected to have a fourth person join our trio, but when Tom met Kirsten we knew that would change. She was the love of his life and there was no changing that. Tom was always a goofball and always had a grin on his face, but when Kirsten became part of his life we noticed something different. The grins so rapidly transformed from goofy to genuine, and in an instant you could sense the true joy that Kirsten brought to his life. Not only did he add an amazing woman, whom we have grown to love just as much as Tom, but he embraced Mel & Dez as part of his family. For the first time, as long as we had known him, he was complete.
Over the course of the last several years we were also blessed to spend time with Mary (Hama), Patty & "The Boys" (JT & Zac), Barb & Mike. Patty always teased us about being "crashers" at family events. We wouldn't have missed those events for anything and rest assured Patty that we will continue to crash those events! Afterall Zac, we still have a Mario Kart race to finish!
We've tried to find the words to say over the last few days, and quite frankly nothing comes to mind. You are all too close to us and we know that nothing we say can ever replace all of the emotions you are feeling. When we met Tom we not only gained a friend; we gained a family. We do, however, want you to know that you will ALWAYS be a part of our family, and we can never tell you just how much you all mean to us.
Our prayers will be with you always, and so will our love.

Kirsten, Chris and I will be forever thankful that you thought to call and let us know. Tom was a great friend and always had a laugh tucked away somewhere. We just saw him a Lowes a few months ago and even after so much time had passed, our conversation picked up right where we left off. He had a smile that reached to the ends of the earth just like the love he had for family and friends. We are so rich for having known him and for having his laughter in our lives. Tom, until next time my friend.

The world will miss you, my friend. The lives you've touched, the smiles you've caused, the goodness you've brought to those around you has rippled far and wide. When I teetered on a deep depression, your friendship was one of the few things that kept my feet on the ground. We are all lucky to have had you in our lives. So were the angels ready for you or did you crash heaven's party and take them by storm?? Either way, I'm sure you were welcomed with open arms.

Rest in peace Tommy. My heart is breaking at the very thought of having to sign this. This news came as a total shock when your little sis called me Thursday morning. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You brought so much laughter and generosity to everyone around you. Heck, I owe my career to you…you taught me how to use the computer on a weekend, just so I could get a job and support my baby. They were so shocked when I came in on Monday with that certificate. I was truly blessed to know you. I’d like to say I’ll pick on Barb for you, but man, nothing can match your wit. God bless your wife, girls, and entire family. Love you bro!

This world is a brighter place because of Tommy and I will always be grateful for the warmth he filled it with. He could make us all smile, giggle and laugh... what a gift. It's been such an honor to have some one of his quality and character in mine and my family's lives. And thank you Tom for bringing Kirstin into our lives too. She's a doll and we adore her. Tom, you will always have prime real estate in our hearts... always.

Tom was my oldest and dearest friend. I can't begin to express how deeply his loss touches my heart and my soul so I won't even try in this guest book signature. I will say though that I loved Tom like a brother. This world will never be the same without him in it and the only comfort I have now is knowing that there is a world somewhere that will also never be the same --but because he is now in it. Here's to being thankful that Tom was a part of my life.. cheers Tom!

I would like to wish my heartfelt sympathy for the Littrell family. Tom was such a hoot! For a year in high school we were locker partners, and every time I would exchange my books between classes, Tom would have a new joke for me. At first I wasn't sure how to take him. He was so open and carefree about who he was. I was shy and somewhat introverted in school and what naturally happened is that Tom helped pull me out of that shyness. He absolutely took life in, and what he breathed out was his natural humor. He spilled his life onto everyone who knew him. He was such a blessing to me!

All I can do is smile when I think of Tom. What an original! There will never be another like him. The memory I will forever cherish is when he went to dinner with my daughter and I, many years ago, to Olive Garden and to try and embarass my daughter and I, he got up on his chair and started singing opera in the middle of the restaurant--Indeed he embarassed us! I loved that he didn't care what others thought about him!! He was so funny!
