Thomas Medulla Obituary

May 27, 1947 - January 27, 2006 Our beloved husband, father and friend. Thomas Medulla was born May 27, 1947 to Samuel "Sammy" Medulla and Mary Dale. Thomas Medulla, a long time resident of Colorado Springs, died Friday, January 27, 2006 after a long battle with cancer. Thomas Medulla served in the United States Navy from 1966-1967 where he lost one of his legs. He was active in the VFW Post 101, where he was a life member, and served as Jr. Vice, Service Officer and was a member of the Military Order of Cottie of the United States. Thomas Medulla was also active in the Eagles Aerie #143, where he served as a Trustee. Thomas Medulla met and married Virginia Medulla, May 27, 1994 in Colorado Springs. Virginia Medulla survives Thomas Medulla. Other survivors include, two sons: Joshua Thomas and Joseph David; three stepsons: Ken Parks, Kevin Parks and Kurt Schneider; one step daughter, Erika Warner; three brothers: Tony Medulla (deceased), Samuel "Sammy" Medulla Jr., and Danny Medulla; two sisters, Dana Guzick and Angela Ragsville; seven step-grandchildren: Luke Warner, Julie Warner, Nathan Warner, Andrew Warner, Michael Benson, Joanna Benson and Kristi Parks; five nephews: Cory, Jerrod, Jason, Kelly and Michael; two nieces: Candrea and Tiffany. There will be a celebration of Thomas Medulla's life at the VFW post 101, 720 S. Tejon, Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon.
