I still can't believe Tom isn't among the living. He was so vibrant and full of life. It has almost been one year and it has gone much too quickly. He will live in our hearts, which will be his legacy to future generations. I enjoyed working with Tom and being a part of his life for that time.

Tommy I love you! It was such a shock to hear you jumped up. I just talked to you to get Aunt Ginny's #. Life is so fleeting. I'm so grateful for all the joy you passed around! Love you cousin...See you on the other side. Merri

From my earliest memories as cousins we hosted many backyard pool parties at the family house in Omaha. One of those many happy occasions the cousins decided to put on a play for our parents. Tom was appointed as the “go to” guy to collect donations in a firefighter’s hat following our slapdash performance. Tom was cute, and compelling. He remained so his entire life, and added so much to his family, both near and far. As his cousin I admired his depth of care and devotion to his Lord and his relatives, near and far. It was because of the complexities of life, not in spite of them, that he grew in compassion and grace over the years. Even after his diagnosis and surgery he hopped in the camper with Lorie and travelled thousands of miles to honour his one remaining Aunt Gin on her 90th. His positive outlook was contagious, and we know it will live on in the many lives he touched, including ours. Until we meet again sweet Tom

Or hearts our saddened by the loss of Tom. He took such good care of us, when we first got married over 30 years ago. He always was ready with a big hug, a good joke, and an infectious laugh. He was one of a kind, and will be dearly missed. We wrap his family in warmth, love and healing . A hug and a smile my friend!

Tom was a wonderful man and had an infectious smile. He was the consummate financial planner and his clients loved him as much as he loved them.
I worked with Tom at The New England and we enjoyed the camaraderie of the professionals and staff there.
He will leave an indelible mark on those who knew Tom. He is a blessing to those who shared time with him and to his family.

Tom was a fun cousin who made sure to keep track of all of his distant relations. I loved his laugh and energy while he showed true caring for how his loved ones were dealing with the complexities of life.

Jack and Marilyn Waugh, his parents (deceased) loved him dearly and Anne (our sister) now misses him greatly too, as well as Noelle and Kent, Kami, Tyler with Shelby (spouse) and Payton. Tom was a great brother appreciative in so many ways. A stalwart defender of the Gospel of God's grace and finally -- words escape me. I have missed him for these last two months and in the future I will miss him more. We were pals as well as brothers. We'll meet beyond the sunset.
