It's incredible how time has changed things since you returned home. It's also amazing after all this time I can glance at your picture and my heart is filled with an overpowering sense of unity. You gave me more than I could ever give you during your time as my big brother. I thank God for you Tim.
See you soon Bro!

Six yrs have passed and its still just as hard as it was then. I miss you so much. I think about you all the time and about all the great memories of all the great times with you. Kaydance is soo grown up now and she talks about how much she misses her uncle timmy. We still cry over missing you but we know that we will see you again. Until that time I know and tell Kaydee that we have one heck of a guardian angel. Love and miss you so freaking much!

Hello,
I represent PRAYER SHAWLS 4 FALLEN SOLDIERS (PS4FS), an organization that since October 2007 has sent over 2,700 prayer shawls to military families who have lost a loved one. We are an organization of over 240 groups from all over the country. We make every effort to reach families even when post cards are returned after they have moved. Would you kindly send me a contact email/address so that we may send a loving hand-made prayer shawl to the family? Thank you!

I can't believe it has been three years since you left us, it is still as hard now as it was then. You were the most amazing man and the kindest sweetest person in your family. I miss you so much. You have the most beautiful children and they have such sweet spirits. Kaydance talks about you all the time and says how much she misses her uncle Timmy. She has a picture of you holding her the day she was born, it is sitting on her nightstand and she kisses it everynight. We know you are with Heavenly Father and we know that one day we will see you again. Until that day comes, we want you to know that we love you and miss you more than you could ever know.
Love,
Tiffany and Kaydance

Holding you all in my thoughts and prayers.
The Wind on The Downs
“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you laughing as you used to do,
Yet loving all the things I think of you;
And knowing you are happy, should I grieve?
You follow and are watchful where I go.”
(Written by Marian Allen during World War l )
Two lines that I wish you to keep near your heart…….
“You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe”
I did not know Timothy, but I am remembering
his service and sacrifice. He is my hero. !

The Other Side
i'm over on the other side
where life and death softly divide.
left my skin and bones behind
now i'm over on the other side.
can you feel me there with you?
my breath is gone but i'm not through.
loved you then and i still do
from over on the other side.
i can fly. really fly.
below the earth ... all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.
it's good here on the other side.
the sweetest songs...the bluest skies.
thank you for the tears you cried
but it's good here on the other side.
i can fly. really fly. below the earth...all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side
the world is smaller than a needle's eye.
where life and death softly divide.
when you leave your skin and bones behind
i'll be waiting on the other side.
i can fly. really fly. below the earth ... all through the sky.
go tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.
Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.
I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend who joined the Army with three other friends, one of whom is my son (Le Ron was killed in action on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.

My name is Rebekah and I live in Lynchburg, VA. I have 2 brothers in the Marines, one serving in Japan, the other on his way to Iraq, shortly. Recently their was a memorial in our town in which you could purchase flags in memory of a fallen soldier . I did this in honor of my two brothers, as the same did my mother. When the cermony was over, my mother picked up the 3 flags we had purchased, they where given out in random in no certain order. One of them was Sgt. Timothy R Boyce. It was July 4th, just hours after reports of Korea test firing weapons that could hit Japan. It was an emotional day. My brother's names are Nathan and Timothy. My heart goes out to the family of Sgt Boyce. It has made this so much more personal to read this website and to purchase a flag with his name on it. We currently are making a small garden are in which to display the flag, in his honor If your family is ever in my area. Please email. Thank you for your sacrifice to the United State of America.

It has been almost 6 months since my brother has passed away. I had dreaded the moment when I have to face reality that my brother is really gone. Tim would always brighten my day no matter the circumstances and he still does to this day. I know I will see my brother again and love him more than anything. I find myself catching myself in saying the little things he used to say, like hoser. Tim I love you and I will always have you in my heart.

Sharon, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your sweetheart. When I saw the story on TV, it didn't register that it was you; but all I could think was "what else could possibly happen to this sweet little family?" I know the hardships you have had to bear, but I am also aware that the Lord is cognizant of your heartache, and will lead you through to brighter days. Please know that you, your sweet children and all the Boyce and Strong family will be in our prayers. God Bless you.

We loved Tim for the wonderful, friendly person he was. Words cannot express to you our sadness for your loss. It is comforting to know that Tim is safe from harm now.
Brad, you served your brother honorably by being with him in Germany and as his official military escort home. He would not have wanted it any other way. You are a great soldier who has served your family and nation proudly!
Tim willingly served his country and the Iraqi people because he loved freedom. He has paid the ultimate price a soldier can pay. By giving his life in defense of this great nation he will be honored always.
