Timothy Sweeney Obituary

Timothy Joseph Sweeney, age 35, a resident of Colorado Springs, died October 7, 2008 after a long battle with cancer. Timothy was born on July 2, 1973 in Pueblo, Colorado, where he grew up. He moved to Colorado Springs after securing a job with Lockheed Martin. Six years later he met and married his beautiful wife, Jane Powell. As a Computer Software Engineer, Tim was inquisitive, devoted and skilled. A loving husband, Tim will be remembered most for his sense of humor, passion for sharing his knowledge, and being an accomplished fisherman. Tim is survived by his wife, Jane; parents, Patricia and Joseph; and sister, Katie Unrein. He is also survived by his mother, Jane; father, Wayne; and brother-in-law, Ken Powell as well as many loving relatives and friends whose lives he touched. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Evergreen Funeral Home 1830 E. Fountain Blvd Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. Memorial service will be at 1:00PM on Friday, October 10, 2008 at Chapel Hills Baptist Church, 2025 Parliament Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado..
