Tina Fox Obituary

Tina A. Fox of Colorado Springs, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 17, 2010. Tina was born Dec. 9, 1956 to Ernest and Fumie (Sasaki) Patrick in Osaka, Japan. Tina was the beloved spouse of John Fox for 29 years and is survived by John; daughters Christie and Becca; mother, Fumie; brother, Perry, of Atlanta, GA, and many relatives. Her father, Ernest “Pat Patrick of Las Animas, CO preceded her in death in 2007. Tina was a 1975 graduate of Widefield High School and a graduate of Colorado State University. Tina brightened many lives with her loving, gentle spirit and words of kindness. Through her many years of work and ministry at Evangelical Christian Academy she offered God's love to all of those she touched. Tina enjoyed needlework, quilting, reading, gardening and scrap-booking. Regardless of what interests she pursued, She always considered the needs of others before her own. She deeply loved God and took great joy in being the “hands and feet of Jesus in helping others, always finding special ways to show God's love and grace. A Celebration of Tina's life will be held Monday, August 02, 2010, 10:00 AM at Glen Eyrie Castle, Glen Eyrie Conference Center, 3820 N. 30th Street, Colo Spgs, CO 80904. "Do not let your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going" John 14:1-4. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to: Evangelical Christian Academy Elementary School; 2511 N. Logan Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80907. I knew Tina in college years through the Navigatos ministry. She was one of the sweetest, gentlest human beings I have ever known. My belated condolences to the family.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Tina's passing. I knew her for seven years when my daughter attended ECA. The world has lost a truly beautiful soul in Tina, but we know that this world's loss is heaven's gain. May God be with your family at this difficult time.

I was so sorry to hear of Tina's passing. She was a wonderful friend. We met while working at Santa's Workshop during our college years. We had a wonderful excursion around the state together. I remember her as a truly gentle and kind person. We shared many laughs. I feel very blessed to have known her. My deepest sympathy to her husband, girls, mother and Perry.

Words cannot express the pain our hearts have felt over this past month in losing Tina...the sense of loss is great. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out. Indeed, Tina loved God deeply and she shared that love with our children, teaching each and every one of them that they were love deeply by Him as well, and special in His eyes. Our children and ourselves considered ourselves blessed to have known Tina and had her in our lives as long as we did. Thoughts and prayers to John, Christie and Becca...may God carry you through this difficult time.
