Todd Martz Obituary

As the new Executive Director of PEAK Parent Center, we are so honored to be be carrying out the legacy of Todd and his family. Tonight we are having an event to support our PEAK mission which is honoring the history, present & future of PEAK Parent Center and we know Todd will be shining his bright light upon us as we continue on the journey to be a beacon of hope for families of children with disabilities and self-advocates (youth/individuals with disabilities). Grateful to the co-founder of PEAK, Judy and to Todd who are a big part of PEAK's rich history. Sending PEAK love always!

same age as Todd and I just can't imagine the sorrow in loosing a child.

To Judy and Harvey, I am so sorry to hear about my Todd. I will miss his laughter and happiness. Always there to greet you by name. Never forgot a face or a name. I have never shopped talking about how awesome a person he was. Things he did and accomplished in his life. I remember his nickname for me Regina "Roberta". Dear Martz Family: Todd was such a joy! He and my daughter, Tracey, rode the bus together and I remember his sweet smile well. You are so blessed to have enjoyed having such a super son. My prayers are with you and your family.

I remember helping to teach Todd to swim when he was young. He remembered me much later at Wooglins Deli. I remember him singing karaoke, and starting the show with "Lets get ready to rumble!" We offer our sincere condolences. Brett and Eileen Fink

What a loss for his friends and family! I did not know Todd well but occasionally was one of many he shook hands with when Pastor Harvey was at Calvary UMC. I'd often thought of him after his family moved and wondered how he was doing. I'm thrilled at his success and the joy he brought to so many people. My sympathies to all who he touched so deeply.

We are deeply saddened by Todd's passing. My favorite "Todd" story is when he went into the living nativity at Calvary, introduced himself to Joseph and shook his hand. Todd truly
was a beautiful soul.

I have thought of Todd many times after graduating with him from Wasson High school. I am happpy to find out he lived a full and happy life. i will always remember him coming behind my high school boyfriend and separating our hands so he could hold my hand instead. Rest in paradise, Todd and thank you for making high school more bearable and leaving footprints on my heart.

You were wonderful parents and Todd was blessed to be born into your family. Attitude is everything and his seemed so very big. Judy and Harvey, I met you a long time ago when my younger daughter, Lindsay, was first diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. My husband and I attended Parents Encouraging Parents for quite some time after that. I recall meeting Todd, and, of course, I fondly remember the two of you. As a mother, it breaks my heart to know how you must be grieving for that precious son of yours, but, at the same time, knowing that he is in a far better place. Judy, I still cherish the hand carved wooden angel that you brought back from your trip to Jerusalem and gave to me so many years ago...Over the past few days I've moved it to another location so that we may reflect on the influence that Todd, his story, and your family have had on the path we have taken with our daughter, Lindsey. We are so sad to hear of todd's passing. Every time we would see him, we got hugs and conversation. Tracy Brown introduced us to him and he was a joy. We will miss seeing him sitting on the porch across the street from us. He touched so many lives. You would not believe how many have spoken about him on facebook! Sending healing thoughts.
