Dear Wrinkle Family,
I knew Tommy while in Texas Wesleyan and as a member of the golf team. The team played at Shady Valley Golf Club in Arlington, where my dad was the pro. My dad thought a lot of Tommy and admired him as a fine young man. So sad to read of his passing much to early.

Tommy was the son of my brother, Ceola, and the first grandchild of Vivian and Ruby Wrinkle. Your first grandchild is so special and they loved him dearly. He and Connie stayed at our house every summer while school was out and their parents worked. He was more like a little brother to me than a nephew. I didn't get to see him much in our adult years, but he will always be special in my heart. Our family is getting smaller, but praise God we will be reunited in heaven.

Tommy and I were classmates from elementary through high school. Although I did not know Tommy very well in school, I do remember his smile and friendly nature. Please accept my condolences. Tommy will be missed.

I did not know Tommy very well but we were both in the 1960 class at Poly and I know how hard it is to lose a husband and father. My thoughts are with you.
My compliments on a life well lived. This is not very common.

Connie,
We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your brother. I know you will miss him a lot. I wondered if he went to college on a golf scholorship and I see that he did. Good for him.
I have often wondered where you were and Connie Lindsey too.
Hugs to you. Gayle and Joel

I remember when my sister Rosemary and I were kids growing up, our cousins, Tommy and Connie, would spend summers with our grandparents in the country near Azle. We lived next door to our grandparents so we were always together trying to find something to get into. Since Tommy was a city boy and we did not have indoor bathrooms, Grandma would fill a #2 washtub with cold well water and put it in the backyard for the sun to warm. Well, Tommy would go forever without taking a bath because he was not about to get into that little round tub of water, outside, where everyone could see him. Grandma had to threaten him with a belt. We have a lot of memories of Tommy. He was funny yet serious, and a man admired by all who knew him. We loved him dearly and will miss him so much.

Dear Mara, I want to express my deepest condolences for your loss of Tommy. Many years have passed since our school days when we were together in class and also doing things since our families houses were not far apart. I will miss his great smile and his laugh. God bless you and your family.

I was a math student of Mr. Wrinkle's at Azle Junior High. He always had an interesting story to tell at the beginning of class every day. He made learning enjoyable and was one of my very favorite teachers. My condolences to his family.

Mr. Wrinkle will always be remembered as a favorite teacher. I felt students lost a great asset when he decided to proceed with his personal business. Nice to hear he make his way to Colorado for retirement. May God bless your family in this time of sorrow.

From D.McRae Elementary through William James Middle School, Polytechnic High School, and Texas Wesleyan College, I was privileged to have had Tommy as a classmate. He was one of the most thoughtful men I have ever known. Heartfelt condolences to his family.
