Tony Ray Schwengler passed away Feb. 26, 2023 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He resided in Colorado Springs since 1969. Tony was born February 06, 1957 at the army hospital in Tokyo, Japan to SP3 James and Laurelee Schwengler. Second of 3 other brothers and one sister. He lived as a Military dependent in Tokyo, Japan, Fort Ord, CA, Fort Sil, OK, Darmstadt, Germany, Gelnhausen, Germany and Fort Carson, CO. Tony worked for his dear friend Valerie at Colorado Complete cleaning for over two decades.
Tony loved the Bible and enjoyed spreading the word. He enjoyed playing his guitar and telling many "Uncle" jokes to light up any room. He was a very kind and caring individual. Making it easy for him to make friends. His family at the Willows of Crestview Assisted Living will miss him very much and will for ever hold him in their hearts. " We fondly remember his infectious laugh. His willingness to help everyone and his love for classic movies. The twinkle in Tony's eyes and his beautiful heart were examples to us of how to love well. We are better for knowing you, "Burt". We will forever hold you tight in our hearts."
He was proceeded in death by grandmother Alice Hamilton, Grandparents Anton(Tony) and Veronica Schwengler, Parents James and Laurelee(Hamilton) Schwengler, and Nephew Barry Schwengler.
With our loving thoughts and prayers, survived by: brothers James(Pamela) of Denver, Johnny of Woodland Park, Tommy (Wanda) of Texas, sister Sheryl of Colorado Springs as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who will miss him.
