Travis Fowler Obituary

10 years. 10 years today since my "brother" Travis passed. How we miss him!! He was fun, loving, caring, and sooo much more. Reminiscing about Travis often, I hope my kids feel as though they knew him. He would have been an awesome uncle to Lil Ry, Alyssa and Lincoln.
Forever in our hearts.....we love and miss you so much Travis!!!

We sure miss Travis. He was like a second son to us growing up. He stayed the night many a time. And even travelled to Mississippi a couple of times to visit our family. Loved him dearly ❤❤

Happy Birthday to our brother Travis who was taken from us at way too young of an age while rafting on the river. RIP brother and give Thadius a hug for me. I'm sure you guys are roshamboing for the lead. Till we meet again in Valhalla

Travis, I cherish the many, many memories I have of us growing up together. You were an amazing "big" brother to me. I will never forget all those fun and crazy times at our house. The huge waterfights, fourwheeling, and all those dangerous 4th of July's! You were the life and the start of every party. I have sooo many awesome stories to share with Lil Ryan and Alyssa. You took a big piece of our hearts with you and you will be GREATLY missed forever!!!! We love you!

Travis Fowler, I have kissed a lot of frogs in my life, and I had finally found my prince! I found someone I could laugh with, cry with, be myself with and not have to worry that you didn't love me for who I am! Travis you showed me how I’m supposed to live, we have done more in the last seven months then I've done in a life time, and now you showed me how to die. I can't believe the night before this horrible day we were toasting to a new life together, we had taken the next step in our relationship and it was a new beginning to our life together. I can't believe that our beginning ended so fast! I Love you Travis you will be missed greatly forever!

To all of Travis’s family, I can’t believe how wonderful you are, I didn’t know that people as amazing as you existed. You guys just took us under your wing, even with all of the stress and pressure you had. I can’t thank you enough, for everything that you have done for us in these difficult times, but mostly I can’t thank you enough for sharing your wonderful son with us. Travis was amazing and even though our time was cut way too short I would do it all again. I love you all!

Travis’s Family-we love you guys dearly, Riley wanted to tell you that he loves Travis very much; He has been the Father that he didn’t have to be to Riley. They enjoyed a lot of wonderful new things together, he took Riley skiing, ice fishing, rock climbing, four wheeling, fishing, hiking, Travis taught Riley how to change the oil in my car, how to fix a boat, build a wall and a patio, Travis was amazing and I hope that Riley grows up to be half the man he was!

Sandra, Thomas and Ryan, there are really no words, I never imagined meeting Travis’ family like this. Since January I have enjoyed getting to know Travis, and it was amazing to see Katie and Travis’ relationship blossom, working out the difficulties and growing as they took their relationship to “the next step” I know that if anyone could have made Katie’s world complete, it would have been Travis, I so looked forward to seeing them spend their lives together loving each other as they obviously did… He reminded me of Katie’s Dad sometimes, and you know what they say. Thank you for including Katie and Riley in your family that means so much to all of us. We will look forward to sharing the memories we have of Travis for years to come he will always be considered family as will you!

Travis was an awesome guy. I met him through Jason; Trav, Thad and Jason were the three musketeers. Travis was always kind and humorous with me-and we shared a love for fast cars... Travis my brother, my heart aches as I'm writing this, You and Thadius are my little brothers and I'm so grateful that God allowed our paths to cross. You have been a blessing to my family. I cherish the deep campfire discussions we shared, rock climbing memories and most important the many laughs he had. I'll never forget when we had the worst floods in 30 years up here in Teller County and it was you that stood by my side and helped me dig trenches to save my house. You where there hiking with us when we came up with the name of Cymon Tahdius our youngest son.. Jill and are were so excited to see you in April at are favorite camping spot. I look forward to the day when we meet again on the other side where there is no more pain and suffering. I LOVE YOU MY BROTHER :)

Mere words cannot adequately express the heartbreak we are feeling over the loss Travis. Luke and I reminisced into the early morning hours of his friendship, loyalty,and that wonderful laugh. While tears were flowing, we both had to stop and laugh when we recalled how Travis would first start to giggle, then burst into a laugh that was absolutely contagious. As Luke said, “He was more than a friend, he was my buddy.”

Dear Fowlers, so sorry to hear this news. I know that words cannot ease the pain you must feel but please know that your family will be in my prayers. I think my most vivid memory of Travis is of course playing hours and hours at your house in junction city and then finding out we were going to be in the same class in elementry school. Of course since he was a boy he didn't think it was that big of a deal and he played with his own friends :) I wish that I could have seen him again on earth but in heaven we will have more time to reminice..love you all!
