Trinidad Lovato Obituary

Trinidad Lovato, 74, of Colorado Springs, passed away May 19, 2013 with his family at his side. Born in Roy, NM on March 9, 1939. Preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Manuelita Lovato; wife and soul mate, Marlene Lovato; son, Leonard Trujillo; brothers, Ted, Gilbert, Henry, Alfonso, Eloy and Eddie Lovato; sisters, Patsy Lovato, Linda Castro and Maria; father-in-law, Fred Casias; and brother-in-law, Tim Casias. Survived by his grandson, Damian Moss; uncle, Tobias Ortega; special nieces and nephews, Bonnie, Paul, Lucy, BB, Gene and Mona; mother-in-law, Helen Casias; brothers-in-law, Tony (Diane) and Duke (Sunwen) Casias; sisters-in-law, Gloria and Paula; his dog, Leña; and multiple nieces, nephews, and friends. Trini was a Sargent in the US Army and served 2 years in Erlong, Germany from 1962-1967. He retired as a Heavy Equipment Operator from the City of Colorado Springs. The last of his generation, an avid fisherman and Bronco fan, always there to help anyone in need. He will be deeply missed by his remaining family and friends. May he always rest in Peace. Memorial service 2 p.m. Friday, Romero Chapel. Relatives and friends will be received at the home of Bonnie Palma, 553 S. Camino De Los Ranchos, Pueblo West and at Romero Courtesy Hall following service. Military honors by the Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team.
