Twila Peach Obituary

"Sue" Peach, a resident of Colorado since 1977 passed away Tuesday, August 3rd, 2011. She was born in Independence, KS to Theodore "Ted" and Alice McElwain. The devoted wife of Kenneth A Peach, Sr. for 52 years as well as his partner in business for over 30 years. She was so much to so many, the middle of three children, a mother of five, a grandmother of thirteen and great grandmother of five. Although she never taught school she was a gifted teacher and mentor and tutored her own children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a Boy Scout den mother and a Girl Scout Brownie leader. A talented seamstress who made many clothes and costumes for children and grandchildren. She was an encourager and a very wise and intuitive woman, who knew just what to say and when to say it. A prayer warrior who truly "prayed without ceasing." A true friend and confidante. Sue is survived by her husband Kenneth Sr., her brother Floyd McElwain of St. Joseph, MO, her sister LaDean Wise of Dallas, TX, three sons Kenneth, Jr of Westminster, CO, Donald of Colorado Springs, David of Fort Smith, AK, two daughters Tammy Peach of Colorado Springs, DeAnna Manzelli of Oklahoma City, OK, thirteen grandchildren Amy, Kristin, Joshua, Kendra, Ashlyn, Jenna, Leah, Ryan, Caleb, Cody, Joey, Natalie and Kenny and five great grandchildren Maleah, Mariah, Chase, Bella and Preston.
