Ursula King Obituary

Ursula Estella King, 50, Social Worker, passed away peacefully in her home on August 3, 2015 surrounded by her family.

Ursula was born on January 3, 1965 in Pinehurst, North Carolina to the union of Julius and Shirley Cooper.

Ursula enjoyed working with young people as a mentor for over 30 years. She was a Salvation Army Advocate and assisted with the Toys for Tots program for 11 years. She loved to sing and dance, collect items and most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Ursula leaves to cherish her memory, her husband; Noel King Sr., her parents Julius and Shirley Cooper, her sons; Noel King, Jr., William Henderson and Alton Kelly, her daughters; Carmella King and Evelyn Kelly, Brothers; Lamonte Kelly, Joseph Portis, Antone, Portis, Julius Cooper Jr. and Fernando Cooper, sisters; Martina Moore and Pamela Moore, 15 grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors 1104 S. Circle Drive, Colorado Springs on Friday, August 7th, 2015 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 8th, 2015 at Trinity Baptist Church 617 E. Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
