Dear Bob:

It has been a year since dear Ursula's passing, and I pray that there has been much healing and recovery for you. I am getting a sense of what you must have gone through with the diagnosis and treatment for her cancer, as my Nancy and I are now going through that for her. My heart is with you. Love and Blessings, Dan McLennon

Bob, thank you for letting me know about Ursula - my thoughts are with you and John Bradford. My thoughts also flashed back to the time working at IBM with Ursula - she was a Sweetheart, always happy and smiling and always there if you needed help. I'll never forget your beautiful Wedding and how gorgeous and beaming with happiness Ursula was that day, you made a perfect couple. I will fondly remember Ursula, always.

Friends for over 35 years, we shared a lot, especially over the past 5 years. Ursula and Bob offered support to us and we hope and pray that we were able to reciprocate. The bond of friendship grew stronger with every conversation. And oh, the conversations we had! We will miss you Ursula. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Bob and Bradford and Mason. We are so grateful to Bob and Toni for Ursula's loving care. Miles may separate us but the love endures. During this time of sorrow may your many fond memories bring you comfort.

My dear Ursula,

I want to thank you for sharing 40 years of your life with me.I can't imagine the wrong turns I would have made without you as my partner.

You were so capable, so strong....even after you got sick, never a hint of self pity from you.It was my great privilege to take care of you this last year; you were an inspiration.

You were so appreciative of the love shown to you, I know you would want to thank again all the family and friends who stood by you.

You know that if I had my life to live again, I would want it to be with you. And I know you felt the same because you paid me the supreme compliment, that you regarded me as your third twin.

I am glad that we both know where you will spend eternity....so my beloved, I say goodbye, until we meet again.

Our Ursula is already missed greatly. My heart breaks for the pain of loss my brother and nephew are experiencing. My memories of Ursula are all vivid and warm and filled with love. Ursula was a rock of support for my brother Bob all these years; her love for her family, kindness for all, big warm heart and smile and expertise in the kitchen were just a few of the traits of my sister in law. I am fortunate to have known her and have her a part of our family. The love from Ursula was a constant over all these years and Ursula will always be in our hearts and memories. Knowing that she is with God now is a blessing. May God help all of us now as we deal with broken hearts and a huge hole in our lives which Ursula filled. I'm so glad that Toni was able to be there with Bob and Brad at the end of Ursula's time on earth. Love and prayers to the entire family.

Ursie came to work at Atty. Banbury's with me and I have very fond memories of her. She babysat my son, and a while back found me after my late husband and I moved back to Colorado. We never seemed to be able to connect, and for that I will always feel regret.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Bob and the entire family. Although Janet and I met Ursual in more recent years, she made us feel as though we had known her all our lives. All of us who knew her will always remember her warm smile and generous nature. I am sure that God's Heaven is a little brighter with Ursula's arrival. Janet & Terry Cox (Fort Worth, TX)

Toni, I am so glad we recently spoke, and I was able to pray for Ursula. She was a great person and as you and I only know what a great sense of humor she had in typing class. Those are cherished memories that no one can take from us. Madonna gave us a wonderful start and has kept us on a good path. My love and prayers go out to all of you, Patsy, Ellen, Tim, Brad and you Toni. Thank you for loving her and caring for her. She will now be your Angel shining down on you from Heaven. All my love and prayers. Pam (Cate) Gantz-North Liberty, IA

We can picture Ursula smiling down on us surrounded by her animal friends. Travel plans keep us from attending the service but we will be there in spirit. Ursula was a special person who will be missed by many. We look forward to the day when we see her again in heaven.

words cannot describe the pain I am feeling at the loss of my younger sister, Ursula. I am so grateful to her husband Bob Riddle and my sister Toni Smith for the loving devoted care they gave her at home in her last days. This care gave her comfort and peace to be in her own home with her loved ones there til the last. God Bless you for your tireless devotion and courage.
