Veopal Lewis Obituary
She was born August 30, 1939 in Kiomitia, Texas to the union of S.D. and Volora (McCallester) Wood. Both parents preceded her in death along with a sister Diane Glover.
She was United in Holy Matrimony to the late George Lewis on June 23, 1990 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Veopal enjoyed gardening, shopping, watching soap operas and most of all spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Vanessa (Richard) Hazard, Latashia Warren, niece Naketa Glover, Brother James (Jackie) Woods, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and loved ones.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 pm Friday, June 12, 2015 at Angelus Funeral Directors, 1104 S. Circle Drive. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11:00 am at the True Spirit Baptist Church located at 5120 Astrozon Blvd.
Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
