Vern was my supervisor at norad 1971 -1972. As always his saying, Cher up put a smile on your face, it’s not the end of the world, that’s tomorrow. Really a great guy. Never gave me a hard time for my hair over my ears. Been 48 years and still think of him. Should have stopped and said hi as he only lived 2 blocks from my future wife. Rest In Peace Vern.
