I had the oppertunity to meet Vic when I was married to his Nephew Scott Wagoner. Vic was a very humble man even though he had done great things in his life. His family is in my thoughts, hearts and prayers. RIP Uncle Vic, your Great Nephew Clint really will miss you.

A true American hero of the "Greatest Generation" - 500 combat hours in WWII and 23 years of service in our nation's military. God bless you for a life of service, Col Kregel, and may He welcome you into His kingdom with open arms.

I played against Vic a few times in the annual Eisenhower Match Play tournament and it was a real pleasure to play against a real gentleman and a great golfer. I lost three times against him but each time I learned something because of his willingness to help and to make excellent suggestions. I will always remember him.
