Villie Quinton passed away on March 13, 2025, from Alzheimer's disease. She had lived in Colorado Springs for many years. She was born in Lahore, Pakistan to Manek and Khorshed Mobed. She was the eldest of three children.
Villie attended boarding school in England. After completion, she took some classes at Oxford University.
Villie was a hairdresser when she was younger but changed occupations and became an optician with Lens Crafters. She worked for them for about 20 years before retiring. Villie also enjoyed painting and sewing.
Villie is survived by her son, Robert Howland (Susan); and her sister, Nergis Schwab Mobed; and her grandchildren, John Howland (Jill) and Mark Howland.
A memorial service will be held at First Lutheran Church, 1515 N Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80907 on May 28th at 1 pm with a reception following the service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the First Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
