Family and friends of Vincent,
I returned from Christmas break only to find an email from Vincent's debate partner that he had passed. Vincent was a student in my speech class this past fall. I was so impressed with him! He was on time and present for every class, always did his homework, participated in everything going on in class and gave some of the best speeches of the semester. His example helped me so much! His classmates admired him as did I.....Pray for us,Vincent. Mary Baker

Marlene, I have never met you, our family loved your son. When we lived in Canton Vince was at our house every day, we went to church together watched movies together, he was our second son wonderful wonderful person. Vernon and Vince were always together best friends, when you moved away we were all so sad asking about Vincent all the time, he will truly be missed God has received a Angel. He will always be in our hearts.

Vince was one of my best friends. We met in College at Henry Ford. We did everything together. I have nothing but the best of memories of him. He was humble, caring, giving, and had a great sense of humor. We got saved together at Cornerstone Baptist Church in 2007. When he moved from Metro Detroit I was so dissapointed because we hung out so often. I made sure I called and text him and kept in contact. My family asked about him all the time. We all loved Vince! It was my pleasure to be his friend.

This was my beloved Godson and know that he will be missed. He did so much in his short time here on earth but it was a full life. I have a few little tears in my heart and now I have another little one with Lil Vincent's name on it.

Vincent,

It is always a given that a parent should not out live their children, but sometimes that happens. I pray that you keep God, family and friends close to you because sometimes life seems like it doesn't get better, but it get more tolerable for our grief. I see by all of the comments he was a great youngman so continue to keep him in your heart, along with God.

God Bless you and your family

To the family and friends at this most difficult time. When a dear loved one dies, their life's struggles with ups and downs comes to an end. However for the bereaved family it continues until the God of all comfort brings an end to all suffering pain and death. This he will do under his kingdom Rule. We pray for that kingdom to come in the model prayer recorded at Matthew 6:9, 10.

To my sweet, sweet Nephew. Love Aunt Chell.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I did not die.
