Vineta Niemet, 90, passed away on December 22 in Colorado Springs. She was a Christian woman, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend.
Vineta was born April 14, 1932, in Kildare, OK to Bacil and Abilene Hood. She was married to Walter Niemet on December 2, 1950. She was a faithful member of the church of Christ for over 78 years.
An online obituary may be viewed at ShrineofRemembrance.com. Services will be held 11:00 am, December 30 at Pikes Peak church of Christ, 1402 W. Pikes Peak Ave. Memorials may be made to Mountain States Children's Home.

Vineta has been in Heaven for 2 years. It's so hard to believe that it's been that long. She's safe, secure and in the arms of our Lord. We all hope to join her when the Lord sends us home. May the Lord continue to embrace all of the family. love, prayers & hugs,
