Viola Wade (Smith) Daniels was born January 9, 1929, in Meadowview, VA, to the union of Olen Smith, Jr. and Virginia Lee Smith. She was the proud wife of Deacon Elie B. Daniels, Sr. for 56 years.
Viola departed this life peacefully on February 12, 2025, in the presence of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elie B. Daniels, Sr.; her son, Elie B. Daniels, Jr.; her parents; siblings; grandparents; aunts; and uncles. She leaves to celebrate her life one son, Everett L. Daniels of San Diego, CA; one daughter, Sandra D. Daniels (David Stinson), of Lexington, SC; three grandchildren, Marco Marshall of Austin, TX; Ceara Daniels of Colorado Springs, CO; and Larissa Daniels-Hill of Columbia, SC; four god-children, Veronica Peeler of Silver Spring, MD; Monica Peeler, Shelley Bibbs (Michael), and Terrie Blackwell, all of Colorado Springs, CO; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends worldwide.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors, Inc., 1104 S. Circle Drive. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Friendship Baptist Church, 633 E. Dale Street. Entombment, Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road.

Sister. Viola Daniels was truly a beautiful spiritual woman, inside and out. She had a wonderful smile every time she was around you. A comfortable conversation to share Gods word, wisdom and kindness. She shall be missed but never forgotten in my heart.
