Dear Doug and Scott,

I was brokenhearted to learn of your Dad's passing. He was a wonderful man and had many friends at Wal-Mart. He spoke of his family often and with much love and pride and his enthusiasm always put a smile on my face. I will truly miss my friend, Virgil.

Dear Doug and Scott,

Words cannot express how sorry I was to hear about your dad. My heart broke when Mom told me. Both he and your mom were such incredible people. Your dad was always smiling and always happy to see everyone. We will remember him fondly and we all will miss him, especially my own dad. He always enjoyed chatting with your dad. God's blessings to you both and may His strength be with you and your families, especially at this time.

Doug and Scott,

I am sorry to hear about your dads passing. I will always remember him with the grin on his face and his quick wit. Your mom and your dad will always be close to my heart and have been thought of often.

Doug and Scott.

It was with great sadness that we heard the news of Virgil's passing. He was a great friend and was like a brother to Connie and I when we were neighbors. He was always ready to give a hand when it was needed, for which we were very grateful. You are both fortunate to have had such a great mentor in your lives, and I know he was so proud of both of you. He might be gone from this earth, but his spirit and many memories live on in his friends and family.

You will both be in our prayers during this difficult time.
