Virginia Collins Obituary

Virginia Collins passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on June 16, 2007 in Austin, TX with her family at her side. Virginia is survived by her husband of 50 years, William Collins; Sons, Scott Collins of Bloomington, MN, Tim Collins of Colorado Springs, and daughter, Jane Donart and husband Dana of Austin, TX. Beloved grand children Emma and Colin Donart, and her loyal dog, Hawkeye. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dell and Aldean Tracy, sisters, Jane Tracy and Vera Felix. Virginia was a long time resident of Colorado Springs and had spent the last 5 years living in Austin, TX near her grandchildren. Before retiring, she worked at Chamberlin Elementary School for over 20 years in the special education program. While there, she made many life-long friends. Virginia will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family, her kindness, quick wit, and her laughter. Mom, we love and miss you. You are in our hearts forever. A celebration of her life is planned for August with family and friends.
