Virginia Dorothy Voelker passed away on December 2, 2023 in Colorado Springs at age 96. She was the beloved wife of Stephan Alan Voelker, cherished mother of five children, and ardent follower of Jesus Christ.

Ginnie was born July 6, 1927 in Lynbrook, NY to Elsie Gardiner Patte and Peter Francis Patte. She grew up on Long Island and graduated from Lynbrook High School in 1945.

She married Stephen Alan Voelker of Brooklyn, NY on June 8, 1946. During their 55 years of marriage, Ginnie and Alan lived in New Jersey, California, Colorado and Texas, and were active church members in each place they lived.

Virginia was preceded in death by Alan, who passed away in 2002. She is survived by her five children, Carol (Russell) Pitts of Larkspur, CO, David Voelker of Cameron Park, CA, Kenneth (Brenda) Voelker of Stanwood, WA, Wendy (Dale) Vaughan of Red Oak, TX and Richard Voelker (Kathy Carnes) of Colorado Springs, CO, along with seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The family will recall and honor her life at a memorial luncheon in February.
