Vito Paradiso Obituary

Born in Somerville, Mass., and a long time resident of Colorado. Vito was a 30 year Decorated Veteran of the US Army. Vito Served in World War II, Germany, Cisilly, North Africa, Battle of Normandy on "D" day at Omaha Beach, Korea and completed 2 tours in Vietnam. Vito was awarded many commendations for his service to include 2 Purple Hearts. He was preceded in death by his 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Pet Jacko, Daughter Jerilynn Rangle Son-In-Law Edward Gromala, and a grandson Mathew. Left to mourn, his wife Donna, sister Antoinette (95), daughters Tamera Gromala and Maxine Paradiso. Grandsons William Mowery, Shawn Mowery, Jesse (Kim) Paradiso, Brandon (Ami) Henthorne, Granddaughter Lauren Gromala, and two beautiful great grandchildren. Many friends and associates from Wal Mart where he retired after 20 years of service, and the friends and neighbors in Rocky Ford where he retired from farming, after 20 years. He will be deeply missed by all family and friends. Viewing Monday 4-7 with Vigil at 7 P.M. at Mountain Memorial Funeral Home Divide, Colorado. Funeral to be held at 10:00 A.M.Tuesday, October 5,2010 at Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church (719-687-9345) 116S West Street in Woodland Park, CO with burial to follow at Woodland Park Cemetery with full Military · Honors. Lunch will be served following services at Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church.
