Walter J. Field, Jr. passed away peacefully on October 19, 2022 in Woodland Park, CO. He was 83 years old. Walter was born on February 20, 1939 in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, to Walter and Lucille Field.

Walter was married to Janet for over 54 years and together they had two children, Jeffrey and Cheryl. Walter served in the Coast Guard, was a volunteer firefighter, worked for Walter Kidde and had his own fire protection business called Firebuster. His duty to serve and protect others impacted the lives of too many people to count. Walter was an extremely special person to so many people and will be deeply missed...

Walter is survived by his daughter Cheryl and son-in-law Wesley; brother-in-law Thomas and his wife Penny; nephew Brian and his partner Jared; nephew Mike and his wife Kelley; and cousins. Walter was preceded in death by his beloved wife Janet, his son Jeffrey, his parents Walter and Lucille, and his step-father Stephen.
