In Memoriam of Ray Ashworth:
Dear Ray,
Where to begin. Such a pleasure and an honor to have had you as part of my life in the last 12 years. Your spirit, your integrity, your guidance and your wisdom were monumental in who you were. Our long talks of family, traditions, experiences, beliefs, and yes, only a little bit of politics. I want to thank you for all the inspiration, fulfillment, and enjoyment brought out of each and every conversation.
You will be remembered for your stylish and sharp dress (always looking your best); your sense of humor; your laughter; your smile; the numerous get togethers for visits, outings, dinners, home projects, and the most important of all, most rewarding and most fun golf, that you shared with Kevin and I, will be forever etched in my heart.
Your infinite love and honor for your children; grand, great, and great-great grandchildren, was an attribute you possessed and portrayed with sincere faithfulness. They are all very blessed to have had such a loving and devoted father; grand, great, and great-great grandfather.
To all of your family, I express my deepest sympathy, ask for Gods blessing and his hand be placed upon each and every one of you at this most difficult time, especially to you, Kevin.
May you Ray, delight in the pleasure of the Kingdom of Heaven. Rest in Peace.
With Love,
Jim Mayes

Ray you were always a great co-worker and fun to work with!! You were also a wonderful father because I've known Rachelle many years, and she is such a loving and caring person. She is a class act, just as you were--and will always be. My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Ashworth family. Be comforted in knowing that those of us who believe in Christ, and I pray it is all of you, will see Ray again. God bless the Ashworth family. Jim Mayes Friend/Co-worker
