Wayne Jarrett Obituary

Wayne G. Jarrett , 63, of Colorado Springs, died peacefully, May 9, 2013. Wayne received B.S. Physics at Wheeling Jesuit University. Served in US Air Force, Andrews Air Force Base as a Telecommunications' Systems Specialist (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex, Colorado Springs. Following his service, received M.S. Physics, St. Bonaventure University, NY, M.S. Applied Statistics, University of Northern Colorado. Wayne had 30+ year career with Digital Equipment Corporation/Hewlett Packard. Wayne enjoyed the great outdoors in Colorado and volunteered countless hours with many local charities volunteering his time and money to the less fortunate. His great love of music was evident, as a member of Out Loud, Colorado Springs Men's Chorus. Wayne is survived by his mother, Agatha Jarrett of WV and the late Leslie Jarrett, sister, Sandy Wallenhorst (Bill) VA, brother, Jeff (Janet) VA, brother, Kevin (Debbie) WV, brother, Rick (Ellen) OH, nephews, nieces, great-nieces and his longtime close friend Marie Sullivan of Colorado Springs.
