Great memories and family remembering good times.

Miriam & family, very sad to learn of Wayne's passing. I'm lucky for the times we spent together. I'll never forget Wayne in his glory at the restaurant or just telling the way things ought to be. I have a special memory of following down Nevada as he enjoyed the back of Ron's Harley. I enjoyed being at the restaurant or the house whenever Mike brought me to the Springs. I have great respect for you both.
With heartfelt condolenses,

Dear Grandma, I am so sorry grandpa has passed. However, I am so extremely lucky to have had you and grandpa in my life. As a child I loved the visits you two would make out to California. It was always around the fair time and the horse races were a must. I remember grandpa had such a strong soul that was always sharing a story. Never knowing if the story was true or a little exaggerated you would just respond witha little giggle and saying "Oh Wayne". I am sorry I couldn't be there to support you at this time of grief but I want you to no that I am thinking and praying for you everyday. The memories I am so fortunate to have of you and grandpa will continue to replay in my mind. I love you very much and miss you very much.
Love, Kerri Klopfenstein-Hill

Grandma Klopfenstein...I pray God comforts you with his perfect peace. I didn't know Grandpa Klopfenstein well, but I enjoyed looking through the photos of you two through the years. I will always remember him the way he looks in the photo. I'm glad you two came out to KY to see us through the years.

Love,
Natalie Klopfenstein

Miriam & family,
So sorry to hear about your loss and you are in my thoughts and prayers. I know that it has been a long time since I have seen your family. I remember the summers that you would come to IN and I would spend time with Sharon & Linda.

Dear Klopfenstein Family,
My deepest and heartfelt sympathy for the loss of the family patriarch. Wayne added so much humor and joy to this family and he will always be remembered for his wisdom and down to earth advice he would share. He always had an opinion if you were willing to listen!
My thoughts are with you all, Blessings and much love, Stephanie (Klopfenstein) Zappone

Aunt Miriam and family,
I remember you stopping at our place in Nebraska on your way out to move to Colorado. Wayne usually had M & M's to give me. I didnt see him very often after that. He was always easy to talk to and showed interest in what I was up to if we met at a reunion.
I am sure he will be missed by his family and I extend my condolences
I Peter 5:10---And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast

Aunt Miriam and family. I love you all and share in your grief. Uncle Wayne was a unique character and always brought his humor, smile and twinkling eyes to any moment. He could be an ornery cuss, but I always told him I knew he was just a big sweet teddy bear! I am so grateful for the time I spent with him on my last visit to CO. He shared about his childhood, growing up and the early years of meeting and marrying Aunt Miriam. I will always keep that memory of him. Thanks for sharing the photos online. It brought back so many memories of my CO family. I love you all. God bless you, 'Cuzn Diana.
