Wayne Perryman Obituary

Wayne Perryman
Oct. 28, 1938 - Jan. 5, 2013
Resident of Richmond, CA
Wayne Perryman was born in Shawnee OK, and passed in Concord, CA from complications of Multiple Myeloma at the age of 74. He was surrounded by his loving family and close friends while his favorite artist, Willie Nelson, played on the radio.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Dell Browning, his mother, Cleo Browning, his brother Bob Perryman, and his daughter, Elizabeth Perryman.
Wayne moved from Oklahoma when he was 3 years old, when his family migrated to Richmond, CA where he lived until his death. He graduated from Richmond Union High in 1956, and received his AA degree at Contra Costa College in 1958. Wayne became an apprentice in The Steamfitter's Union in 1960. He held many elected positions in the union; he worked his way up the ladder becoming a business agent and held that position for 9 years until he retired in 2010.
Wayne was an avid hunter and traveled to Idaho and Wyoming many times, but his favorite place to hunt was down Cache Creek, where he rafted and was a private member for over 40 years. He was a life-time member of NRA, Moose Lodge, Pinole Sportsman, and Richmond Rod and Gun Club.
Wayne is survived by his former wife, Karen Perryman, his sons, Mark and Ryan Perryman and his daughter, Kelly Perryman. He is also survived by his 6 grand daughters, Nicole (Sean) Kennelly, Brittany, Brandi and Haley Perryman, Eliana and Danielle Hernandez, and one great granddaughter, Chloe as well as other family members and many lifelong friends
There will be a Celebration of Wayne's life on February 02, 2013 at 1:00 at The Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 342, 935 Detroit Ave., Concord, CA. Friends and family are welcome to attend. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Make A Wish Foundation at www.wish.org.
