Wayne Potts Obituary

Wayne Potts, 61, of Colorado Springs, passed away on May 2, 2009. Wayne was born on August 26, 1947 in Mesa, Arizona to the late Joseph and Roberta (Clark) Potts. Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before owning his own radiator repair company for several years. Wayne is survived by his common law wife, Robin Clyborne; three children, Gregory Potts, Andrew Everson and LeAnne Potts; three sisters, Joan Roberts, Carol Todd and Marlene Clayton; two brothers, George and Joseph Potts; one grandson Eric Price; one aunt Louise Nickell; one cousin Gerald Brothen; five nieces; six nephews; eight great nieces; fifteen great nephews; and one great great nephew. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 8, 2009 at Evergreen Funeral Home. A reception will follow at Palmer Park (Maizeland and Academy) in the Meadow Pavillion. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Penrose Hospital Cancer Center.
