I have many wonderful memories of Bill, since his family and mine were close friends. He would come for visit us in Farmington. He was especially close to my dad because they were both marines. Daddy would give him advice and they would often joke with each other. I also remember a time when I was in college in Las Cruses and he came to visit. He drove me down to Juarez and we ended up going down a one way street the wrong way. Juarez was a bit scary but those few minutes were especially frightening. There was never a dull moment when Bill was around!! He was such a strong marine and I am thankful to have had the privilege of knowing someone who fought so hard and gave so much for our country. Prayers for his family and loved ones.
