Deepest sympathy for your loss. Mr. Callahan was a great teacher and administrator. He had a great sense of humor and was always fair to all students. My mom was secretary to the school board for several years and she always talked about his great interaction with the Board.

So sorry to hear about your loss. It's hard to lose a parent! I remember both your Mom and Dad well from the good old Cheyenne days! Good people. Leslie, if you see this, I would love to hear from you! I've often wondered how/where you are.

Leslie...if you read this i am so sorry about your dad. i can really empathize as we just lost my mother in April & she was in the nursing home in Mancos!! i had no idea you were in that area. My brother Matthew lives in Cortez w/ his wife who was a Hospice caregiver & helped w/ Mother. My heart goes out to you; your dad was pretty cool to all of us kids at Cheyenne Mountain High School, even tho' we dared not get him mad at us! Again, sorry about your loss. Take care!

I always called my teachers Mr., Miss or Mrs. Mr. Callahan was one of my favorites at Cheyenne Mountain High School. He will be remembered by me, my brothers and cousins, all of whom had him as a teacher. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!

I loved your Dad and always enjoyed him growing up. He was always so kind to me and my brothers. He and my Dad taught together and spent much time together as well as both our Mums. May your hearts be at peace knowing your Dad was a great man, who was adored by many. - Pama Holdren Beatty
