Bill was a man in which we all looked up to in the softball world. He would give his all to the teams on the field each and every time he stepped out there, which was more than I am sure his wife and family would have liked, however he was doing what he loved. You will be truly missed and I am proud to call you my friend."My you rest in peace"

It was my pleasure seeing Bill's smiling face on the softball field and out in the community. I had the pleasure of learning alot about softball and about life from Bill through conversations at tournaments. His love for his family was always expressed by him. He will be sorely missed here but i'm sure that if I get to heaven I will see him again!!!! Your family will always be in our prayers!!! We will miss you Bill!!!!

Bev, Lisa, Todd and all of Bill's loved ones,
We will miss him much, and know that your loss is greater than anyone else can feel...yet his life was a real inspiration for us and for many. There is nothing better in our time on earth than to be a good and faithful servant, and Bill was that and a source of joy to all who met him. We treasure his memory. Our prayers are with you as you grieve, our hearts are glad that he is no longer suffering, and we look forward to the day when we can see his smile again and thank him in person for the love he shared with us and with so many. Be strong and smile through the tears, because the Lord of all grace is holding your husband, dad, and grand-dad in the most loving arms there are.
With love,
Chris, Rhonda, Ryann & Sky

To Bev and The Family:
I had the honor to officiate with Bill on numerous occassions. The one thing he impressed on me is how to be a professional in the officiating business. He made the job fun. I also admired his love for you and the kids, to include the grandkids. It goes without saying that both Ava and I have lost a good friend. Be strong and we will continue to keep you and your family in our prayers.
God Bless and Keep You

To the family...my prayers are with you...as we all know that Bill is in a much better place paving the way for all of us. I umpired with Bill (and Ray...God rest both their souls) for many years and have a true appreciation for what he brought to the field and life in general. Thanks for the memories!

Bill always had a kind word and smile for me every time I saw him. It was an honor to have him on the softball field for any game in which I participated. You will be sorely missed, Bill. Your family will be in my prayers.

Bill was a wonderful man that I have gotten to know over the last 2 years. He will be greatly missed thru out all of the softball fields. He was one of the best umpires and score keepers I have ever worked with.

Bill was just a great person to know, work with and to just be a plain friend with. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. I knew him through Softball and had the honor to see him inducted into the USSSA Hall Of Fame which was well deserved. To his family stand strong as Bill would want you too. For now he is looking over you each and every day taking care of you the only way he knows how, 110%. Rest in peace Bill and you will be included in my family prayers each night.

Bill was a friend of mine while growing up in Saranac Lake. He did his best to teach me woodworking but to no avail. I was always in awe of his goodness and his focus on life. I wish the best to Bev, his wife, also a friend from Saranac Lake. My prayers include his family.

Bill had such a good time at the last reunion; what a lovely memory to leave with so many of us.
I am so sorry for your loss, Bev, and will pray for you for the strength to go forward as Bill would want.
