So sorry for Bill's passing. We were Betas together along time ago but he was always a quality guy. God Bless Bill and God Bless the family!

I worked with Bill on 2 child and family cases in the late 80s, early 90s. He was a good person to work with, respectful, kind, caring. I saw Bill about 3 years ago and it was nice catching up with him again. It makes me sad to know I will never get to.bump into him again.
Sending warm condolences to his family.

My heartfelt sympathy to Bill's wife and family. He will be truly missed. I had the pleasure of working with him for over 20 years in Municipal Court. He was always cordial, funny, professional and helpful. He always wore a smile and had a positive attitude. May your memories of him bring you comfort.

I went to high school and college with Bill. Although I didn’t know Bill well, i think I am a pretty good judge of character. He’s one of the last of the very few “good guys” who treats everyone with respect, has a quiet wisdom and still possesses a great sense of humor. My sincere condolences to his family who are so honored to bear his name.

Dear Susan and family,
Bill was a longtime friend and colleague. I met Bill in the bar review course in the summer of 1982. We hit it off immediately ! We spent a lot time together that summer after long days of studying, we would drink beer in local bars and pool halls around Denver. He had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh.
He was a great advocate ! He was my go to guy when I needed the best landlord /tenant lawyer to refer to. Bill always went out of his way to say high and visit even when he was racing back and forth between courtrooms.
My heartfelt condolences go out to Susan and his children. This will be hard loss for me for a long time. Rest in peace, my friend.

William was a great story teller. He had many interesting life experiences and told about them in a captivating way. I have not been a regular attendee of annual college fraternity gatherings, but when I did attend I always made sure William was attending. I recall one time arriving very late and wanting to grab dinner. William had already eaten, but went with me to keep me company. He was a dear friend, I will miss him.

Dear Susan and family: There are no words sufficient to express our sympathy. I don’t think we ever had a conversation when Bill didn’t mention something great his wife and kids were up to. He was a lawyer’s lawyer, admired by our bar and bench. I’ll miss seeing him at court; his wide smile and quick wit, in addition to his impressive advocacy skills, never failed to brighten the day. We hope your fond memories and faith help sustain you during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Lin and Steve Vela

To Bill's family - I'm so sorry for your loss. I started practicing in the Springs in 1985 and probably met my fellow Husker within a year or two. He definitely was filled with positive energy. I can't remember him without a smile. Good attorney, good person, good family man. He will be missed.

I met Bill and Susan before they were married while I was working my way through college at the Ritz downtown. Great people. Bill was always such a genuine person. He was caring and treated everyone with respect. His sense of humor and that smile were contagious. I can still hear him laughing. I pray for Susan and their three incredible kids. Sending condolences and care to all.

I remember the day that we met when our company hired him as our attorney he had me laughing to the point of tears. Our thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends. You will be missed Mr. Duvan.

Wherever Bill Duven was, mischief was never far behind. That smile and that eye twinkle could only belong to Duve the Groove. Bill, you brought good into the lives of so many people, but you sprinkled in a laugh and the admonition to take things a little lighter, to try easier, and in that you made a world of difference. Rest easy.
