William Edleman Obituary

William Arthur Edleman, Jr. 81, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday May 3, 2009. He died of COPD. He was born February 26, 1928 in Athens, Ohio. He was a retired Air Force Musician and played the french horn. He was a member of the Christian Church. He moved to Florida in 1971, where he worked as a Legal Administrator for a law firm, a manager for a clinic, and as the bookkeeper for Ad-Pro, Inc, before he finally retired in 2006. After his retirement from the Air Force, he continued to play with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Band, The Tampa Bay Symphony Orchestra and The Lakeland Community Band. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Dorothy Reiter (Ed), and his first wife Audrey. He is survived by his wife Patricia, son Wallie Dale Edleman (Rose), daughter Diane L. Lowery, children by marriage, Kathryn Norris, Stacy Rowell (Mark), Scott Norris, and Matt Rogers, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. There will not be a memorial service in Lakeland. He will be buried with full military honors at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado next to Audrey. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice at 115 South Missouri Ave. Suite 500, Lakeland, Florida 33815.

Dear Dad,

I miss you so much. I'll miss our talks and catching up with each other. You not only are my Father and Daddy you became my friend. You are my Hero. You overcame so much and were strong through it all.
