William passed peacefully to eternal life on Sunday May 14,2023 at the age of 86. Originally from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, "Bill" came to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1957, serving with the United States Air Force. He contributed to the transportation of furnishings and equipment into the newly built U.S. Air Force Academy. It was there he met his wife of 63 years, Margaret, who preceded him in death only 10 months ago. Truly, his heart was broken. Bill was committed to his faith and served on finance and renovation committees at St. Mary's Cathedral, in jail ministries and member of The Missionaries of Mercy. He leaves behind 2 daughters, Catherine Leibensperger (Jon) and Elizabeth Hensen (Mike). A mass of Christian Burial will be held June 14,2023 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Cathedral with internment immediately following.
