William Keas Obituary

William "Bill" Keas passed away on March 7, 2006. He was born in Hays, KS on July 8, 1925 and moved to Colorado Springs as a young boy. He was a long time resident of Victor, CO. Bill served in the Navy during WWII. He retired from Mtn. Bell at NORAD where he was a telephone and Teletype technician. He was a Hamm radio operator (K-KUO). He was a member of the Victor Elks, Frontier Gun Club, and the Telephone Company Pioneers. He is survived by his daughter, Candy; granddaughter, Kristi; brother, Dick; sister, Harriett; and a dog, Duke. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy; son, Mike; brother, Bobby; father, William B.; and mother, Winifred. A viewing is scheduled from 4:00-6:00 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2006. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 11, 2006. Both services will be held at Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, CO.

A kind and generous friend, father to my best friend. Mentor to me. And I would add, one heck of golf club maker...While in heaven, would you mind putting in a word to the almighty and ask him to help improve my game. I certainly could use some miracles.
