William Mortensen Obituary
Mr. Mortensen was born on September 16, 1936 in Colorado Springs, Colo. He worked in lumber sales for 37 years and became District Manager for Diamond International. He attended Colorado Springs High School and the University of Colorado, at Boulder. He served his country as a 1st.Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He was also active in the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity.
Mr. Mortensen is survived by his loving Companion of fourteen years, Virginia (Fox) Soper, daughter Deanne Wehman and husband Randy, son Rick Mortensen, three grandchildren, and sister Ann Pepper and husband Fred.
He was preceded in death by son Brian Mortensen and grandson Justin Mortensen.
To have known Chris was to love him.
The Funeral Service was held, Wednesday, March 26, at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetary, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA.

He will be missed

Chris and I were so fortunate to share 14
years together. He always looked forward
to our Class Reunions.His happiest memories were of his time at CSHS and
Boulder. He had many, many friends in
Colorado, California and Maui. He must
have been a part of God's plan, because
he certainly filled a void in my life!
