WILLIAM "BILL" PERRETT
1938 - 2020
On December 3, 2020, Bill Perrett of Colorado Springs, went to be with the Lord at the age of 82. Bill was born to Edith and John R. Perrett on July 8, 1938 in Andalusia, Alabama. Bill married Sally Wiggins, also from Andalusia, Alabama, on May 27, 1967. They moved to Colorado Springs in 1972 and raised three children. Bill worked in insurance sales and financial planning for 36 years with Massachusetts Mutual and New England Financial. Bill was a faithful member of Village Seven Presbyterian Church since 1973 and served as deacon, elder and greeter. He is remembered by many as the first person to greet them when they visited the church. Bill was the definition of kindness. His greatest joy was people.
Bill was preceded in death by his father and his mother, and his brother John. He is survived by his wife Sally of Colorado Springs, daughter Maria Leonard (Brook) of Colorado Springs, and their children Kade, Kenleigh, Ty, Krue, Trek, and Cody, daughter Patti Moore (Jay) of Anchorage, AK and their children Jacob and Brandon, and son Brad Perrett (Andrea) of Colorado Springs.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Village Seven Presbyterian Church at 10:00 am.
