William "Bill" Sloane Price, a devoted husband, father, and accomplished mining engineer, passed away on April 19, 2024, in Georgetown, TX.
Born in Colorado Springs, Bill excelled in academics and extracurricular activities. After graduating from the Colorado School of Mines and serving in the US Army, he embarked on a long and distinguished career in the mining and construction heavy equipment industry.
Bill cherished his wife and children and enjoyed the Rocky Mountains, outdoor activities, sports, and his creative pursuits. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Linda, and his daughter, Melinda. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Sloane Price. Bill leaves behind a legacy of integrity, intellect, grit, loyalty, and love for his family.
A private interment service with immediate family will be held at the Chapel of Our Saviour Columbarium in Colorado Springs to celebrate William's life and honor his memory.
