William Ross Obituary

William Dean Ross, 51, passed Monday Aug 4, 2008 at home in Florissant, CO. after a short battle with cancer. He was born February 18, 1957 in Corpus Christi, TX to Raymond Irving Ross, Jr. and Wanda Martin Ross. He attended W.B. Ray High School and graduated from Del-mar Technical School in Corpus Christi, TX. He was employed at the Double Eagle Hotel and Casino in Cripple Creek, CO as an HVAC engineering technician. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Martin Ross. He is survived by his wife Barbara (nee Allen) Ross and a daughter, Rebecca, and son-in-law Michael Aigner of Colorado Springs, CO. Also survived by a son, Lee Mitchell Ross of Colorado Springs; grandson, Camdin Aigner; sister Raylene and brother-in-law Gary Geissler of Florissant. He was a dear uncle of one niece, two nephews, two great nieces and five great nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Peak View Baptist Church, 2001 County Rd. 31, Florissant, CO. The family has requested donations in lieu of flowers to the memory of William D. Ross sent for the studies and research of rheumatoid arthritis at the Arthritis Foundation, 325 Parkside Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910 and to Rocky Mountain Cancer Center Patient Assistance Foundation, attn: Kevin Watson, 320 E. Fontanero St., Ste. 200, Colorado Springs, CO 80907.
