William Squire Obituary

On November 21, 2010, William Mark Squire was reunited with the Lord. He was born on November 14, 1990 in Bamberg, Germany, and just turned twenty when the Lord called him home. Will attended Cheyenne Mountain High School and Pikes Peak Community College. He loved working with his mom in an after school program called Bright Star Dream that helped improve at-risk kids' reading skills. Along with volunteer work, Will was a Boy Scout and attended numerous scouting events with his dad. He loved exploring the natural environment and cherished trips to observe the otters, grizzly bears, wolves and thermal features in Yellowstone National Park. He also enjoyed playing computer games, watching South Park with his younger sister, and working at McDonalds. Will touched everyone who surrounded him. Although Will had to overcome many difficulties throughout his life, he always tried his hardest at everything. He understood that there was some greater plan for him with God. He devoted himself to the Lord and is now asking Him those questions he always talked about. He will be missed by all his friends and family and is survived by his dad Mark, mom Sarah, sister Bevy, two dogs Skylar and Zoey, kitten Sassy, cat Patches, uncles, aunts, and grandparents. There will be a memorial service November 27, 2010 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1830 South Corona. There will be a visitation November 26, 2010 from 5:00-6:30pm followed by the Rosary at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 East Fountain Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph's Church Children's Programs for disabled and disadvantaged children. Will is now surrounded by a body guard of angels in the presence of God.

Sarah, Mark, and Bevy,
I'm so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and Will. Here is a poem I love, I don't know who wrote it, but want to share with you all. Hope it will bring you comfort always.
God's Heavenly Garden
Sometimes God picks the flower
That is still in full bloom;
Sometimes the Rosebud's chosen that
We feel He's picked too soon;
Sometimes the flower is fading with
Petals floating down.
But God knows the perfect time
To gather flowers from the ground.
There is a heavenly garden in which
God takes great pleasure;
Because he has placed within it
The loved ones that we treasure.
He walks among the blossoms
Giving them eternal rest.
And I know it must please Him
Because He chose our very best.
love you,
Marcia and Azjia
