I have many fond memories of my cousin, Bill, and his family. One of my first is from the mid-1970s, when I was a college student at CSU, with my family still living in South Africa. I came down to the Springs one weekend to see my aunt and uncle, Betty and Craig Larimer, and Aunt Betty had arranged for the Thomspons to take me cross-country skiing outside of Woodland Park. I was enchanted with the whole experience and loved seeing the family have so much fun together. Later, probably in the late 1980s, Bill and Annalynn introduced me to Leadville and Ski Cooper. These experiences continue to impact my life. Although no longer a skier of any sort, I snowshoe every year...at least once for a long weekend in the Leadville area.

Just a few of my memories but ones I am especially grateful for. Bill will be missed!
